Weekly Update of Events: 5/18 – 5/24

Hello, Pigskin Nation!!  Sorry for the late email!  Here are the events that will be going on at the taproom this week.  We will be having several one off batches on tap, and our new food menu will be going strong.  We have pulled pork sliders on a pretzel bun, a brisket sandwich on a pretzel bun, walking taco, fried bologna sandwich, pretzel sticks and beer cheese, a gyro, and various hotdogs bratwursts, and Italian sausage.  That makes my mouth water just talking about it.  Hope to see you here!

Tuesday: Happy Hour from 3:00p-7:00p 

Wednesday: Happy Hour from 3:00p-7:00p 

Thursday: Home brewer Happy Hour.  If you brew beer at home, this is the time to come and talk about it!  Regular Happy Hour from 3:00p-7:00p

Friday: Happy Hour from 3:00p-7:00p

Ale was brewed for centuries without hops. Before the 1400s, ale was flavored with herbs such as rosemary and thyme. Yet the antiseptic quality of hops helped to preserve ale from spoiling and later became a vital part of its flavor.
